JPA Oversight Committee Meetings

The JPA Oversight Committee was formed as part of the Joint Powers Agreement for Mutual Fire Protection By And Between Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District and Cloverdale Fire Protection District.

The following is an excerpt from the agreement:

A Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) Oversight Committee shall be created. While it is anticipated that most operations and budget decisions can be addressed at the staff level and through each Party's annual budget process, the JPA Oversight Committee may convene at anytime with proper notice in the event that the Parties are unable to come to agreement on budget, service level, or other issues that cannot be resolved at the staff level.

The JPA Oversight Committee shall meet quarterly to discuss the joint operations as agreed to under this JPA.  Other meetings and/or frequency may be established by the Committee at anytime following the approval and signing of this agreement.

The JPA Oversight Committee shall include the following members:

  • Two (2) members of the North County Fire Board of Directors
  • Two (2) members of the Cloverdale Fire Board of Directors
  • Cloverdale Fire Chief
  • North County Fire - Fire Chief
