Dates: Starting in Fall 2026

The Ladera project is part of the Sonoma Springs Fire Resiliency Area. Vegetation management will treat approximately 40 acres with pile burning. Hand crew treatment of cutting the vegetation and building piles is planned to start in early Fall of 2026 with piles burned during the wet months of Fall/Winter 2026/2027. The project is in partnership with the Sonoma Valley Fire District, Sonoma Ecology Center, North Bay Conservation Corps, and County of Sonoma Ag+ Open Space.
