Walk & Roll to School

Fire Prevention Message

International Walk & Roll to School Day

Walk & Roll to School Day is an annual event that involves communities from across the country (and globe) walking and rolling to school on the same day. This event encourages students, families, and school communities to walk, roll, bike, take transit, or use other non-motorized ways to get to school.

This year’s celebration took place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Students and staff of Geyserville Elementary School met at the Geyserville Park & Ride and walked to school as one large group. Northern Sonoma County firefighters escorted the group, providing safety and excitement for walkers.
