Dates: September - October 2025

Vegetation management along roads that serve as evacuation routes and/or are dead end. Treatment being performed in the County of Sonoma’s road right-of-way. Treatment areas were developed by community groups including Communities Organized to Prepare for Emergency (COPE) and homeowner associations using a community-based planning process (Community Wildfire Protection Plan or Firewise USA Action Plan). The project is in partnership with the County of Sonoma Public Infrastructure (PI), Permit Sonoma Chipper Program Crew, and CAL FIRE.
